The US House Budget Committee will consider the fiscal year 2012 budget resolution next week.

The harsh financial facts of funding so much military intervention will be examined, and it is believed that there will be something of a dire budget reality.

With the military stretched thin, with troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, humanitarian relief in Japan, enforcing a no-fly zone over Libya and fighting piracy off of Somalia and more something may have to give.

There have already been some concerns voiced that navy vessels may be pulled from the Gulf of Aden/Indian Ocean to join the fray off Libya.
