Tanker Targets
Somali pirates, driven north by monsoon rains, will probably attack more tankers navigating the Strait of Hormuz.
The strait handles 17 percent of the global trade in oil, according to AKE Group, an adviser to insurers.
Pirates tried to hijack an oil tanker and a container ship as close as 60 miles to the waterway in the past month.
It is believed that tankers will be targeted because they generate the most ransom, the report stated.
