Seafarers Plight
The suffering of seafarers held hostage along the famine stricken coasts of Somalia is almost forgotten amidst the aid battles fought in the capital and the media and only to a lesser extent on the ground in Somalia.
Critical ship-hostage cases in the moment are the “MV DOVER”, which is close to be released while the negotiation for a Danish yachting family with three children and two deckhands has not concluded.
