Talks Underway
The managers of the hijacked chemical tanker “MV Fairchem Bogey” have begun talks with the negotiator appointed by the Somali pirates to seek the early release of the ship and 21 Indian crew members.
A senior representative of Anglo-Eastern Ship Management said, “First contact between the Somali negotiators and the response team has been established and discussions are ongoing – with the return and safety of the crew, as the first priority”.
