The alleged pirates, who were recently caught by the Indian Navy were well stocked to stay at sea for many days.
The nine foreign nationals were nabbed off the Mumbai coast in a 500-tonne Iranian vessel “MV Nafis-1” along with two AK47s, a pistol and a huge amount of food items, like tea leaves, soft drinks and rice.
The arms were concealed in an empty fuel tank of the ship.
