Iceberg Grounded
The hijacked ‘MV Iceberg I”, a Dubai cargo ship held by pirates since March 2010 has grounded off Somalia after its anchor chain broke.
Ecoterra International have reported that the 5,400-dwt vessel drifted on to sandy ground between Kulub and Eyl on 4 September. The crew of 24 is still on the ship.
