Pirate Fights
Over the past few months, there has been a sharp increase in the conflicts between separate pirate groups.
In separate incidents, several people, including some pirates, have been killed in fighting between rival groups.
The clashes usually erupt when pirates get drunk and exchange gun fire in the middle of villages. The violence is further fuelled by the fact the monsoon season limits their ability to attack ships.
