Ransom Fears
As US legislators look to make ransom payments in cases of piracy illegal, experts believe there could become a “two-tier system”.
This could see some owners who can pay ransoms and others which cannot. Richard Neylon of Holman Fenwick Willan voiced opinion that a ban on ransoms would only likely make the problems of piracy worse, not better.
