Weather Concerns
The NATO Shipping centre has raised an alert in the Bab Al Mandeb (BAM), Southern Red Sea (SRS) and the Gulf of Aden (GOA) areas as favourable conditions for small boat activity, mean that there are heightened concerns of potential pirate activity.
Further out to sea, continuing poor weather in the Somali Basin (SB) and especially the Arabian Sea (AS) means there is currently little or no piracy activity.
