In an effort to fight piracy on land, rather than on sea, the Lloyd’s Register Group will soon approach Indian ship builders and ship owners with research backed designs on building ships to ward off pirate attacks.
In a two-day training module, LR aims to train ship designers, re-fit organisations, operators, insurance agents, and ship owners with design solutions that can reduce the risk of pirate attacks.
