Former superyacht captain John Beadon thinks there is a “gold-rush” mentality around the maritime security industry.
He says: “Everyone suddenly has their own idea as to how to deal with the pirate threat, even if they’ve never been at sea in their lives.
“We’ve seen them all in the past few years and groaned with the release of each one”.
