Terror Attack

Manila correspondents Pandiman have advised that terrorists, believed to be members of the New People’s Army, have reportedly attacked two mining companies in Claver town in northern Surigao.

Several hostages are thought to have been taken, and tugs and landing craft used by the mining companies are said to have been destroyed. Ports in this region are used to export nickel ore.

Members planning to fix or send vessels to load nickel ore in Surigao, Philippines are advised to contact Pandiman for the latest information before doing so.
