Consilium and ChartWorld International partner for the provision of a new ECDIS Concept.

Customers will receive the Consilium S-ECDIS equiped with ChartWorld’s type approved eGlobe. The S-ECDIS will come prefilled with the new ChartWorld ACES data service. The Advanced ChartWorld ENC Service (ACES) delivery is mainly in SENC. Prefilled systems are much more efficient than systems using traditional S-63 data as the SENC service ensures commissioning times onboard are minimized. All further services will be provided by ChartWorld’s certified data services for official ENCs and Admiralty data products.

Beyond leading data services Consilium now will provide its customers eCert, Chart World’s complete training package, encompassing both generic and type-specific training using a combination of traditional class based training and advanced web-based E-Learning programs, a unique solution for shipping companies to comply with SOLAS ECDIS requirement.

Consilium has a worldwide network of subsidiaries and agents to provide the best support to customers in more than 50 countries including all major ports around the world. This new partnership will bring significant benefits to customers since two industry experts offer a complete service solution in the emerging ECDIS market.
