Seebald & Associates International announce a new and improved agenda for the inaugural International Facility Security Officer (iFSO) Conference, held September 17-19, 2013 in Niagara Falls, NY.
The new agenda features thirteen speakers hosting interactive discussions to a specialized audience with backgrounds in maritime facility security. Speakers were selectively chosen to present at the iFSO Conference due to their extensive knowledge and personal experience in the maritime facility security field.
The iFSO Conference’s most notable change in the agenda is the addition of breakout sessions to the conference. “I want this conference to be like a think-tank, an event that promotes the flow of ideas and information to truly spread best practices and perhaps influence policy. To accomplish this, the agenda was modified to encourage conversation amongst smaller, more specialized groups,” said company founder and CEO Edward Seebald.
The iFSO Conference will begin with an awards ceremony on September 17 designed to recognize facilities and entities with proven policies and best practices effective to achieve maritime security. The conference will also feature training opportunities for those interested in completing a U.S. Maritime Administration approved facility security officer course. For the past ten years, Seebald & Associates International has provided this course to 2,500 facility security officers.
