Maritime Surveillance Middle East conference & exhibition will bring together leading Naval, Coastal, Air Force and Port Authority personnel to discuss the maritime threats faced in the region, countermeasures, surveillance systems and techniques and port security.
Maritime Surveillance is of great importance in the Gulf States with vital cargo passing through the waters to reach Africa and Europe. The coastal and maritime surveillance systems need to be of the highest standard to counter the maritime threats faced in and around the Arabian Sea such as piracy.
Taking place in Doha, Qatar on the 25-27 November 2014 where the Qatari Government are in the process of building the largest port in the region which will become the main transport hub for cargo passing through the region, and will be the HQ of the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces. There will also be a dedicated maritime security department located at the New Port of Doha which will be officially opened in 2016.
