Navy frees two abducted expatriates in Delta
Nigerian Navy has rescued two foreign shipping experts working with a Panamanian vessel, ‘MT Equinox’, at a tank farm in Sapele, Delta State.
They were allegedly abducted by fellow expatriates two weeks ago. Mr. Radu, a Romanian and Sergej (Lituanian), captain and chief engineer respectively, were rescued at their abductors’ hideout in a popular hotel in Warri (name withheld).
National Mirror gathered that the victims were working on a lease contract for Ringadas Oil Company, operator of the Sapele tank farm, when they were abducted.
