No ransom demand for missing tanker and its crew so far, says minister

Five days have past and there is still no news, not even a ransom call, over the missing Malaysian tanker MT Orkim Harmony, which was carrying 6,000 metric tonnes of RON95 petrol worth RM21 million.
Minister in Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) was working hard to trace the ship and its 22 crewmen on board.
“We have informed our counterparts in Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam and Philippines about the tanker’s disappearance…”
