UK Royal Navy’s Type 45 destroyer HMS Defender ready for deployment

The UK Royal Navy’s Type 45 Daring-class air-defence destroyer HMS Defender has successfully completed six-week pre-deployment operational sea training (OST).

During its flag officer sea training (FOST), the vessel underwent several training scenarios, including attacks from fighter jets, submarines, surface enemies, pirates, and a host of small boat threats.
