Abidjan hosts int’l piracy conference

An international conference of the G7++, Friends of the Gulf of Guinea co-chaired by Canada aimed at discussing the way forward against maritime piracy, opens in the Ivorian economic capital Abidjan on Thursday.

It will be part of the broad global mobilization against piracy and maritime robbery, a statement by the organizers revealed on Wednesday.
