UPDATE: General Cargo Vessel Attacked 120mi SW of Brass, Nigeria; Crew Kidnapped

July 13: At approx. 22:30LT the Turkish-flagged General Cargo Vessel PAKSOY 1 was reportedly attacked 120mi SW of Brass Terminal in Nigeria (0258N, 0044E).

Two skiffs, each carrying 5-7 armed persons on board reportedly “attacked” the vessel. The level of violence, and all further details are currently unavailable. The vessel may well be hijacked.
