Ship Parts Stolen From Tanker Underway in Singapore Strait

December 25, 23:00 LT: A British-Flagged Chemical Tanker was reportedly boarded by six unarmed, unauthorized persons while underway in position 1°08’54.0″N, 103°30’13.2″E, along the Phillips Channel. Crew spotted the persons and raised the alarm, at which point the six persons escaped with ship parts from the engine room. The vessel proceeded to anchor off Sudong Anchorage for investigation by Singapore Police Coast Guard.
