January 30, approx. 09:40 UTC: Initial limited reports that a speed boat carrying 6-7 armed men reportedly “attacked” a local trading vessel in the vicinity of Limbe (approx. posn. 03°58N – 009°08E.)

Local authorities have launched an operation to localise and arrest the perpetrators.
