Supply Vessel Reported Safe After Suspicious Approach By Two Skiffs off Soyo Angola

at Soyo anchorage in Angola, a supply vessel (NAME WITHHELD) was approached by two skiffs with 4 and 6 persons on board. The alarm was raised and SSAS was activated. The skiffs changed their course to the Congo River after noticing the vessel’s alert status. The port authorities were informed and a patrol boat was dispatched to the area. Vessel and crew were reported safe.
